Rainy days usually make me sad. But even rain can’t keep Zion National Park from being awesome. Actually — we found magic today. We were at the very right place.. at the very right time. And lower canyon was transformed into a mega wonderland of waterfalls — practically 100000 of them (to be exact) 🙂
We drove to Zion on this rainy day to check out some super obvious (but little known) petroglyphs right next to the lower canyon entrance. Funny how we drove by here so many times, never knowing what secrets were just off the road within a stone’s throw.
The petroglyphs were amazing enough to call it a day — but since the shuttle (which normally runs from spring to late fall) was now hibernating for the winter, we were able to drive right through the normally jam packed lower canyon. The rain kept everyone away.
