Warm winter days in t-shirts are my fav. Another one of my favorite things is returning to a much loved archaeological site in the middle of the wilderness on one of these exact warm, blue-sky days.
Behold the ‘Maze’ petroglyph rock. This site has become a public site over the past few years — with a very nice trail that winds up and over a small cliff and leads to a vast expanse of sage brush with a giant rock that sticks out in the distance.
This is absolutely one of my favorite rock art sites! It’s so amazing. It’s fun to watch the kids return to these special places and have the same sorts of feelings — happiness, wonder, amazement. Yay!
